Privacy Policy
Placeholder text describing our approach to data. Requires review by a qualified lawyer before any live or real-money use of the platform. See also the pilot programme notice.
Data we collect
[Placeholder] Categories of data collected in the course of using the platform:
- Account data: email address, organisation name, industry.
- Verification data: legal company name, registration number, VAT number, registered address, an authorised representative’s name, email and phone number, submitted voluntarily to unlock Verified status.
- Listing and transaction data: what you list or want, offers made and received, transaction history.
- Technical data: basic usage and log data needed to operate the platform (session, device, approximate IP-based location).
Verification data handling
[Placeholder] Verification data (registration number, VAT number, registered address, authorised representative details) is used only to assess an organisation’s verification status and, once payment is secured on a specific transaction, to reveal real identity to that transaction’s counterparty. It is never shown publicly and never shown to a counterparty before payment secures.
Our anonymity commitment
[Placeholder] Listings and negotiation show only industry, approximate location, condition, and a Verified badge, never a company name or exact address. Real business identity is only released to the other party in a specific transaction once payment for that transaction is confirmed secured. This is enforced at the data layer, not just the interface.
How data is used
[Placeholder] To operate the marketplace: matching, notifications, identity reveal once earned, verification review, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Not sold to third parties.
Data retention and deletion
[Placeholder] Retention periods and deletion requests process to be defined by legal review.
